Portland Container is a Family Owned company, and has been serving the PNW for more than more than 30 years. As a drayage service provider, on a typical day we move 130-200 international shipping containers across three western states. We work with hundreds of customers via email and phone, and review dozens of documents daily. As a Company, we are customer centric and customer focused. Job Summary – Order Entry Specialist

• Enter data into various systems accurately and efficiently
• Transfer paper or electronic files, into our format and system
• High attention to detail, accuracy paramount
• Willing and able to work both in an office environment and remote from home
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and demands
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimum supervision in a dynamic team atmosphere

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will possess a "can-do" attitude, with a "will do" work ethic
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office Suites
• Basic math skills, including calculation of percentages
• Flexibility in learning new processes and ability to refine your knowledge, to our process
• In the new remote environments, have or be willing to get, high-speed internet
• Ability to stay on task without direct oversight
